Britt Michaelian, M.A. is a passionate, serial entrepreneur dedicated to helping parents keep their families happy and healthy as they pursue their own personal ambitions. With a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy and as the Founder of San Francisco based Responsible Family Company, Britt is well positioned to lead families into a new way of living in abundance.
In 2002, while working towards her Masters degrees, Britt started her first business (naturally called Britt Michaelian Fine Art) as an exhibiting artist. As her artwork gained recognition, so did her desire to help parents to prevent the accidents that brought children to the hospital where Britt worked. She joined forces with emergency room physician, Dr. Wayne Warrington and created her first product, the award winning video Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers.
Since then, Britt has become a nationally recognized child safety expert and entrepreneur. With her Amazon bestseller Secrets of the Safety Goddess: A Modern Safety Guide for Busy Parents, Britt has appeared in local, national and international media. She has spoken at international conferences and lead family based workshops designed to keep families safe, happy and healthy.
In early 2009, Britt joined forces with Wealthy Girl Summit creator Alicia Dunams to form See You On The Call, a teleseminar listing service that helps entrepreneurs to promote their businesses. In addition, Britt added a new product category to Responsible Family Company, a brand called Work Smart Mompreneurs. With the slogan “work smart. live smarter”, this division of Responsible Family Company is the embodiment of Britt’s personal values of trust, love, relationship, service and creativity. Work Smart Mompreneurs was launched with a powerful 5-Part teleseries called The Business Building Basics for Stay at Home Moms.
In the first call of the series “How to Find Your True Passion”, Britt explored how moms can tap into their passion after having children and reconnect with their purpose in life. On the second call, she explored the top 5 ideal business models for stay at home moms. The third teleseminar combined that passion from the first teleseminar and a business model from the second call to create a passion-based lifestyle business plan that incorporates a mother’s family, career and personal goals. The fourth teleseminar was about building a dream support team using specific ways to attract people with like values who will help moms achieve their ultimate vision because it is in alignment with their purpose. The final teleseminar summed up all of the parts of the teleseries and gave moms a cohesive plan to fund their passion-based lifestyle businesses without touching their personal bank accounts.
For moms who want more personalized guidance in the startup phase of business, Britt has developed the one-of-a-kind Work Smart Mompreneurs 12-week Smart Start-up Program that takes moms through the exploration of their personal values, life goals and natural talents so they can build a business around their life purpose. By the end of the 12 week program, moms will have their business entity, branding, website, business plan, marketing strategy, sales funnel, work space and life systems in place so that they can focus on living their lives with purpose.
Britt also provides ongoing coaching services to moms, dads, women and men who have an existing business that they are feeling tangled up in either because they aren’t making enough money, their personal life is suffering or because they simply aren’t happy with the direction that things are going in.
It is Britt’s dream that moms in this generation will see the importance of following their dreams so that they can be happy, but also so that they can role model this pursuit to their own children. Britt explains, “if an entire generation of kids could be raised with first-hand role models who are actively pursuing their dreams, can you imagine what these kids would be able to do with the world? It would be truly remarkable and I think we need to make it a reality.”
In late 2009, Britt became the co-host of the Getting It Done Show on the HerInsight network of Toginet Radio. This radio show empowers parents to achieve the goals they are striving for by sharing tools, resources and stories of success and growth.
