How to Design A Life Aligned With Your Purpose

We all know consistency is key to getting results in life. Whether you want to learn how to ride a bike, how to heal your body, or how to build a business, one of the biggest contributing factors in consistency. Another huge factor in achieving results is intention and knowing deep down what YOU want. Not what anyone else wants for you, but what your soul yearns for. And I have to say, it’s not always an easy endeavor to dig into these things. It takes being vulnerable, being honest with yourself, and most importantly, it takes loving yourself enough to follow through with things that aren’t always easy.

So, how does one go about not only designing a life aligned with purpose, but also committing to taking the right actions to manifest that life you envision? You sit down and you meditate and then you journal. Every day. Without fail. Because every time you sit down to write out the things you want, you envision those things and when you do this over and over, you send a message to the Universe that you mean business. And every time you witness those things you want in your mind’s eye, you bring them into the quantum field where all energy exists. This practice in turn invites your desires to join you in this reality by matching their frequency with yours. And the more times you do this, focusing on the feelings you want to experience by having these things, the more your personal frequency will magnetize what you want to call forth.

Now, I did not come up with this idea, but there are several books on it and it is a pretty brilliant system for not only refining what you want, but also to keep things simple enough that you are more likely to stick with the practice.

The 3-6-9 Journal will not only help you manifest your dream life, but it will bring into your reality the things that speak to your soul as a part of your life mission. It is a living embodiment of your most aligned Hopes, Dreams, and Wishes.

To script them into reality, get a brand new blank journal and plan to write in it:

3 times in the morning.

6 times in the afternoon. 

9 times in the evening.

For 21 days.

…45 days.

…180 days.

…365 days…

Complete the following and repeat daily until they match your reality in some form. Then create a new list. If desires shift, edit as needed. Commit to it daily in honor of loving your soul. 

  1. I am grateful for… list 5 specific things you want in your life with regard to family, friends, health, passions, lifestyle, relationships, and other experiences of life… word this as if you already have the things you want and genuinely feel gratitude for them as you write them. This is how you raise your frequency to meet your wishes.

  2. I am grateful for the 5 life changing miracles I have experienced in 2023.

  3. Write:

  • I trust myself. 

  • I love myself. 

  • I am worthy of (all things listed above)

Set reminder notifications in your calendar with a fun tune that makes you happy to remind yourself to follow through. Journal the above three times first thing in morning after a brief meditation and before your feet hit the ground to get the morning practice checked off the To Do list. Journal the above six times every afternoon before you eat lunch. And journal the above repeating six times every evening before bed. Commit to this schedule everyday and watch what happens. Magic :)

Aim for 21 days and if you do that successfully, go for 45. And if you can keep sticking with it, see if you can make it 365 days in a row, purely dedicated to living your life mission. And every time you make it to one of the benchmarks, give yourself a reward (a day at the beach, some time with friends, a walk in a beautiful place, a nice yummy bath) so you keep focused on living with intention, dedication, and love.
